The tactician has denied rejecting offer to work with the newly appointed veteran coach after helping the Umuahia side retain her topflight status last term.
Abdullahi Biffo says he never rejected an offer to serve as an assistant to newly appointed technical adviser Okey Emordi at the Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors.
The former Giwa and Niger Tornadoes handler who is currently undergoing a coaching training in the United States had helped the Umuahia outfit from dropping from the top flight last season.
Though admits he is unaware of his new role and undecided over his future, Biffo insists he has no problem working with the newly appointed coach. Naija and Bet
“I am not aware of anything yet until I come back to Nigeria,” Biffo said
“The management [Abia Warriors] has not told me anything on that [assistant coach role]. I never rejected anything because I have never received any offer.
“I’m a coach who wants to learn new things I have a good working relationship with Abia Warriors.
“Coach Emordi is one of the respected coaches in the country and I believe every coach would like working with him.
“He is going to add value to the team but still doesn’t know anything yet about my future with Abia Warriors,” he concluded.
