Alex Iwobi, Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck all came off the bench at the weekend and will start against Sporting. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette will lead the line.
Sporting CP- Rodrigo Battaglia only lasted 30 minutes of Sporting’s 2-1 win over Santa Clara on Sunday and will not play here. Abdoulaye Diaby needed to come off at half-time in the victory but is part of the travelling squad to London.
Sporting has recovered Bas Dost since losing 1-0 at home to Arsenal at the end of last month and the Dutch striker should lead the line for the away side on Thursday.
